How polyester resembles

Terylene, Dacron and terene are some common polyester fibers. Polyester is made from petroleum products. Polyester is prepared by the reaction leading to the formation of ester bond between their repeated units. 
Properties of polester are given below :

1. Polyester fibre are quite strong. So the fabrics made from polyester last longer.

2. Polyester fibers absorb very little water. Therefore clothes made from polyester dry quickly after washing.

3. Polyester are Wrinkle resistant. Therefore the fabrics made from polyester retain their crease.
