What is migration

The movement of animals in large numbers from one place to another and back to their original home is called migration. Animals migrate during winter and breeding seasons. When the conditions become favorable the animals return home. Birds migrate to find plenty of food and be escape inhospitable climate. Birds are well known for their long migratory flights. 

Common migrating creatures are whales, fish, butterflies, turtle, and birds.
